Hi there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're already ahead of the curve in the planning process! Ka-Chow! I love seeing a Guest so well prepared, as it'll allow you to let loose and soak in all of the magic once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Jennifer, you can indeed link all of your family members' My Disney Experience accounts in order to share reservations and plans. The reservations you've already made will show up in their accounts once you're linked, so they can view and even add to the planning. I'll run through the steps of how to link everyone.
- Open your My Disney Experience Mobile App and click the menu button in the bottom right corner.
- Scroll down and select "My Profile."
- Tap the option at the top for "Family & Friends List."
- Scroll down and select "Add Guest."
Now, here is where you have a choice. The newest and easiest way to connect is to select "Scan their linking code." You'll have the first Guest with whom you're linking follow the directions given on the screen using their own mobile device, then click the blue button that says "Scan Linking Code." Once you scan their code, you'll select the Guest from your Friends & Family List that matches this Guest's name and confirm. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! They're now linked!
Another option is to choose the selection labeled, "I'll enter their name and age." After inputting the required information, toggle the option for "Share Planning with this Guest" and enter their email. That Guest will receive an email and a notification within their My Disney Experience account. Once they accept the invitation to connect, they'll be linked to your account and you can continue planning together!
Jennifer, you will need to repeat this process with each Guest you'd like to link with your account. After doing it once, you're pretty much a linking expert and will be able to complete the process fairly quickly!
I also wanted to give you a quick reminder that park reservations are still required to enter the theme parks at Walt Disney World. Be sure to reserve a spot for each member of your group for each day you plan to visit the parks using the
Disney Park Pass Reservation System. If you have Park Hopper tickets, you will only need to make a reservation for the first park you will visit each day, then you can freely hop to your next destination after 2:00 p.m.
I hope I've helped answer your question today, Jennifer! Have a magical vacation!
Ashley
