I created an account years ago for my husband and me and we both have annual passes. Is there a way I can move my and my daughter's annual passes to accounts made just for us so we are not longer attached to his?

    Hi Annie, welcome to planDisney!

On my honeymoon, I remember entering Magic Kingdom Park without a single bag. I had my ticket in my pocket and that was all I needed for a successful park day. These days, I can't even imagine a park day without at least one backpack filled with water bottles, sunscreen, Minnie ears, etc. The way we experience Walt Disney World Resort changes over time, but I'm sure you'll agree the magic stays constant.

I understand you and your daughter currently have My Disney Experience account profiles managed by your husband's account and that you'd like to transfer your Annual Passes (!!) to separate My Disney Experience accounts. Here are the steps to making that dream a reality:

    1. If you haven't already done so, you and your daughter can go ahead and create your own My Disney Experience accounts.
    2. On your husband's Family & Friends list, click "Update" next to your name.
    3. Click "share planning with [Annie,]" which appears in blue letters in the top right of the Update Information box.
    4. Enter the email address associated with your separate My Disney Experience account and click "Continue."

Once you accept the email invitation to connect, Annie, all of the vacation entitlements linked to you under your husband's account (including your Annual Pass) will automagically transfer to your new account. You and your husband will remain connected as Family & Friends, which means you can still view and make plans for each other. Repeat steps 2-4 to merge your daughter's My Disney Experience account profile with her separate account, as well. You and your daughter will still need to connect as Family & Friends.

I hope this information helps your family enter an exciting new chapter of Walt Disney World Resort vacations. More My Disney Experience accounts mean more people to book Genie+ Lightning Lanes, place mobile food and beverage orders, and download Disney PhotoPass media. The magic is multiplying!

    Plan magic; planDisney.
