Hiya Marissa,
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are already planning ahead for your June 2023 vacation. I firmly believe that you can never start planning too far in advance, especially if you want the trip of your dreams. I definitely understand the value of budgeting for a Disneyland vacation. The costs can skyrocket with dining, resort accommodations, tickets, and merchandise. When I was in graduate school, my Prince Charming and I became pros on how to do Disney on a budget, so hopefully, I can help you out.
The best way to make payments towards your vacation is to reserve a
Disneyland Vacation Package. With a Disneyland Vacation Package, you combine a stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel with Theme Park Tickets. Not only can you make payments towards your package, but you also receive benefits such as early Theme Park entry and discounts on dining and merchandise. If you were already planning on staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, this is a fantastic way not to have to pay for your vacation upfront. Personally, this is one of the few ways I can enjoy a stay at a luxury resort without breaking the bank.
If you do not want to reserve a vacation package and just want Theme Park tickets, you will have to pay the total cost for your Theme Park tickets upfront. But don’t worry; I have a tip for you that always helps me, and given how long you have until your vacation might be perfect for you. One of the tips I like to use to create my own mini-payment plan on Theme Park tickets is purchasing
Disney Gift Cards. I buy them in increments as low as $25 and combine them until I have enough to cover my Theme Park tickets. This allows me to spread the cost over time and feel less overwhelmed at checkout! I also love using this for dining, merchandise, and all other trip expenses.
I hope I was able to help you, Marissa! If you want more details on any of these options or if I can help you further, please come back and see me.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
