Am I crazy not to make any advanced dining reservations? I feel like we will just eat whenever we are hungry wherever we happen to be.....probably won't get any table service resteraunts but I don't feel like that's a big deal.

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!

Guests visiting Walt Disney World enjoy all sorts of travel styles, so if grabbing Quick-Service meals and snacks is more your speed, then no Advanced Dining Reservations are needed.

I see that you are arriving on Christmas Eve--so exciting! This is peak season, so if you might want even 1 Table Service meal, make that reservation prior to arrival. Holiday weeks are the most popular in WDW parks and resorts; that there may be some days when signs in parks note that there are no Table Service reservations available in that park that day--they've all been booked!

If you are sure that you won't want to dine at a TS location during your stay, you'll be fine. If plans change once there, call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE, go online for dining reservations or use the My Disney Experience mobile app to see what may be available. You'll likely have better luck looking at restaurants that are located in and around Walt Disney World Resort hotels, as guests sometimes don't realize how easy it is to leave a park to get to a nearby dining location. The Wave of American Flavors, at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Trattoria al Forno, at Disney's BoardWalk, are 2 great locations we've dined on last-minute reservations.

Have a magical stay, Kimberly! Send more questions as you plan; we love to help!
