Hi, Jeanette! You are probably asking this question to the wrong group of Moms! Many of us took our kids there as babies. My son's first trip was when he was 8 months old. I love his first pictures with Mickey Mouse, and the memories I have of him smiling as he rode around in his little stroller!
If you are going to take an infant, it is important to remember that you are not going to be able to go 12 hours straight, and as the parent, you might not get to go on all the attractions you would like. But in exchange, you get some amazing memories of your little one on their first WDW trip!
Some tips for traveling with infants . . . Remember to have a stroller with a top on it to block the sun. In addition, have sunscreen and a hat to block those harmful rays from the sun. Also, it gets very hot, so keep your baby hydrated. Use an insulated bag for your baby items so nothing gets ruined from the heat.
Take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. There is one located in each of the parks. They are wonderful for feedings and changings, and a great place to buy baby food and formula and other baby needs if you forget anything.
Finally, take your time and schedule breaks. Follow your baby's lead and give him or her much needed naps! Everyone will have a much better time if your little mouseketeer gets plenty of sleep. For more tips on traveling with little ones, click
