Hello, is it crazy to go to Disney on a Spring / Easter break? Too much people? I would avoid but it's the only time of the year we are available to go. Please advise on how packed can be. It's 2 adults, one late teen and one 6 y.o boy. Thanks!

    Hi there, Laura!

You're asking a group of crazy Disney people if we think it's crazy to go to Walt Disney World. The answer from me is always no, definitely not crazy. Luckily, we are also a panel of crazy Disney experts, and we can help you navigate the crowds during busier times.

How packed will it be? Spring break compared to Christmas break is not awful. While it will be super busy, different school breaks make it manageable. Colleges often take their break earlier than Easter, and schools might do the week before Easter, the week after, or not even do a full week - especially considering snow days. It'll be busy, but we've got this!

Let's help with crowds. Make sure you have a My Disney Experience account. Everything is then at your fingertips. Skip the front desk and go right to your resort room, use it to go into the parks, mobile order food and skip those lines, and definitely use the brand new Disney Genie Service. This free service gives you a personalized daily itinerary, based on your priorities. I highly recommend purchasing the Disney Genie+ option, which gives you access to Lightning Lane. Not only can you then book the next available window for a Lightning Lane entrance, but it also lets you book two Individual Lightning Lane attractions per day at an additional fee. That gives you quick access to some of the most popular attractions. Also, rope drop. Get to the parks at opening to make the most of your day.

You can do this, Laura! We are here to help, every step of the way!
