Hi, Am i crazy to bring my double bob with me? I have two kids 3 and 9 months.I'd love for my kids to take naps in the stroller while we are at the parks. We're staying at Bay Lake Tower. I say we shouldn't bring it and my husband says we should. Thanks!

    Hi Kate,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I am not sure that I want to wade into a disagreement between you and your husband, so what I am going to do is give you my best and most honest opinions on each side and you can add these to the thoughts you are using to make the decision.

With children 3 years old and 9 months old, I think you are absolutely going to need a stroller or strollers during your visit to Walt Disney World.  There is some controversy among parents as to what is easier in this situation - one double stroller or two single strollers.  While a double stroller only takes one person to push it, it is wider and thus may be harder to maneuver in the theme parks.  Especially in large crowds the double strollers can be a bit unwieldy; however, many people do manage them just fine.  Single strollers are more compact, but it will mean that you are each pushing a stroller all the time.

When my daughter was young, we had a stroller that we used at home for everything.  We brought it with us on vacation because I knew that she was comfortable in it, and would nap in it.  This would be an argument for bringing your stroller from home.

You should know that there are times on certain Disney transportation when you are going to be asked to fold up your stroller.  Especially on the buses, you will need to fold it up.  So you need to be comfortable taking the children out and folding the stroller up on a regular basis.

These are the thoughts that I have both for and against bringing your double stroller from home, Kate.  I hope that they are helpful in your decision making.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
