    Hello! I am a CR girl at heart and just love the "hustle n bustle" feel there, but will be trying Poly for the 1st time this April due to price and availability. Can you please suggest which longhouse I may prefer? And best way/time to make rm res?

    I think I'm the right person to answer your question because Disney's Polynesian Resort is my family's absolute favorite of them all. We usually stay there twice a year - that's how much we like it!

    It sounds like you're a seasoned veteran when it comes to Walt Disney World, so I'm sure you're familiar with the different room rates that apply based on views and other amenities like club-level services. You'll find that to be the case for the rooms and longhouses at Disney's Polynesian Resort as well. For example, the longhouse we always stay in has three different room rates: (1) Garden View; (2) Lagoon View; and (3) Theme Park View. 

    The booking options available online through DisneyWorld.com are sufficient for most guests. However, if you're picky like me, I'd recommend phoning in your reservation by calling: (407) 939-7675. 

    You can certainly make a special request on your reservation (e.g. a ground-floor room or a room in a specific longhouse), but they can't make any guarantees. They will, however, do their best to accommodate your request.

    Since you're planning to visit in April, I would make your reservation as soon as possible. Disney's Polynesian Resort is very popular and often sells out because they have a very strong following of repeat guests.
