    Cozumel dolphin encounters say taxi transfers. Are these car taxis or shuttle buses? It'll be myself and 2 young daughters & I don't think I am comfortable taking a taxi alone. I would feel much better if it was a shuttle with other cruisers.

    Hi Trinity!

    Your Disney Cruise  is fast approaching and I know you must be so excited!  It looks like you may be a Silver Castaway Club member so your Online Check-In and booking window will open soon!  Make sure you’ve downloaded the most recent update to the Navigator app to set the fun cruise countdown clock and then you can really watch the days tick away!

    The dolphin encounter in Cozumel looks so fun!  My boys are not quite old enough for us to do any dolphin encounter adventures yet, but our day is coming soon!  I checked with some friends at Disney Cruise Line Guest Services about the taxi transportation and learned that in some locations Port Adventures uses taxis and this is based on the transportation options available at the port of call.  Please be assured that the transportation is organized and secured through the Port Adventures team and is simply to get you from the port to the destination which is a short five-minute drive.  There is always the chance that there will be a motor coach transporting you, but they recommend you be prepared for either type of transportation.  They assured me that they would never separate families and there is the chance that Guests may be grouped together to utilize all seats in the transportation car.  I can understand your hesitation, but since it is an organized transport, perhaps it can put you at ease since a larger group of Guests will be caravanning to the destination.

    If you feel this is not the excursion for your group to do during this trip, there are plenty of other great adventures available in Cozumel!  Perhaps you can swim with the stingrays instead!
