Ahoy Cristine!
So glad you charted a course to planDisney. Well, traveling with work friends on a Disney cruise sounds like an excellent idea to me. In fact, I think more companies should implement this idea to encourage team building! Hopefully you and your colleagues have some fabulous adventures at sea together!
Good news! You absolutely can place more than one debit or credit card on a stateroom account. In fact, that’s exactly what I am doing with my best friend when we cruise in a few days! I have my card linked to any charges made using my Key to the World card, and she is doing the same with hers. Naturally, Guests can also have others in the same stateroom under their card if they wanted (for instance, if they wanted to enable charging privileges for their kids).
Then to make your purchases, all you have to do is charge your Key to the World card, and it will keep the charges separated. At the end of your cruise, your account will be settled with the payment method you provided at Online Check-In. Alternatively, balances can also be paid with cash, credit card, American Express Travelers Cheques in U.S. denominations, and Disney Dollars at
Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship).
My last little tidbit of advice is to go ahead and download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It’s a treasure trove of cruise information right on your personal device. This is also a way to keep tabs on your stateroom account and make sure the proper charges are being allocated between the Guests in your stateroom.
We are ready to be in CHARGE of more of your cruise planning questions, so please stop back by planDisney anytime. Cristine, wishing you a DREAM voyage!
