Hi Mary, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us with this great question. I know we're all trying to navigate the proper protocols these days, so I'm happy to help you find the information you need.
Disney is taking many precautions to keep Guests and Cast Members safe as the phased reopening of Walt Disney World continues. The closest COVID testing site I could find to Walt Disney World property is in the Maingate area, not far from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. The address is 3010 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, FL, and it is operated by the Florida Division of Emergency Management. It's off-property, however, so you'll need to arrange your own transportation there. I can't link it here, but if you search "Florida emergency management COVID testing sites" on Google, you should see a link to "FloridaDisaster-dot-org" testing sites come up first. Go to that page and then click on Osceola County for information. Also, be sure to check the walk-up testing Frequently Asked Questions link at the top of the page to find out what you need to bring with you, what kind of test is administered, etc.
Another option for your pre-flight COVID test is to take advantage of the rapid testing site at the Orlando International Airport. The tests are provided by Advent Health. Again, I can't link it here, but you'll find the info if you search for "Orlando airport COVID testing." According to the website, the testing site is located before the security checkpoint on the third level of the airport, and the hours are Thursday through Monday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. This may be the most convenient option for you if you don't have your own transportation during your stay at Walt Disney World.
Mary, I hope you're having a magical vacation, and that you have a safe trip home. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
