Christina from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is a Covid test required to enter Disneyland or California parks? If it is a requirement, does it apply to young children?

Hello, Christina! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to drop by with your question for us. I bet you’re excited to return to a land of Magic in a few days! Soon you’ll be able to experience all the pixie-dusted fun at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Even though it is strongly recommended by the State of California for all Guests to be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test result prior to visiting, Disneyland Resort is not requiring proof (of vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test result) at this time. When you’re outdoors, masks remain optional; however, all Guests (ages 2 and up) are required to wear masks indoors, including on many attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles.

Christina, since this pandemic situation remains constantly evolving, there could potentially be changes to park operations. To help you stay updated, please be sure to visit Disneyland.com or Disney Parks Blog periodically.

If you have additional questions with planning your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to write us again, Christina. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
