Having stayed there during its first year, you must be especially excited for the 50th anniversary of
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Leigh. If it were me, I'd definitely make plans to either stay or enjoy a meal there. What a fun reunion! In the meantime, check out
this blog post that shows off the reimagined rooms. Aren't they great? I just love Moana and am so glad she found a home within the Disney Resort Collection.
It's so awesome, Leigh, that you get to return, after having visited during Walt Disney World's inaugural year. Indeed there are some festivities befitting so momentous an anniversary planned.
The World's Most Magical Celebration is sure to be an unforgettable occasion. There will be amazing Beacons of Magic that promise to both light and
delight Guests in each theme park, not to mention the debut of
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. It's definitely on my must-do list for this year.
October is still a ways off and so some of the
health and safety measures that are currently in place might change by then. Right now, though, there is no requirement that you schedule which days you plan to exercise your Park Hopper Option. Currently, Guests do need both
valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation to gain admittance at the park entry. If you have purchased the Park Hopper Option and wish to hop between parks, you'll need to first be sure to visit the park where you hold a reservation. After 2 o'clock in the afternoon, you can visit a second park, subject to capacity availability. No reservation is required for that second park.
Your visit is definitely extra special this year, Leigh. It's sure to be practically perfect in every way!
