Hiya, Wendy, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re here!
That’s a great question, and one I've been wondering myself. So, I went ahead and checked with a Cast Member to get the scoop. Yes, at this time, your family is still able to utilize Uber or Lyft services to get around
Walt Disney World Resort. In addition, the Resort’s
complimentary transportation options are also still available. Just keep in mind that
Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft is currently suspended until further notice. The Cast Member I spoke with said there isn’t a timeline yet for the reopening of that service.
I've used ridesharing services during my stays at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I love the convenience and ease of utilizing them, especially at the end of a long, fun day! During my last visit, I was also able to experience the new
Disney Skyliner, and I was so impressed! My children think of it as its own attraction, which makes it even more exciting for our family. Though I haven’t visited the theme parks since Walt Disney World reopened this month, I’ve been happy to watch online videos showing the efforts in place to
physically distance Guests, even on various
modes of transportation around the Resort.
Before your upcoming visit, I recommend ordering some of these adorable
Disney Cloth Face Masks from
shopDisney.com! Not only are they cute, but they’re also the most comfortable face masks my family owns! I’ve discovered that these are the only masks I have that don’t fall down when I’m talking. Plus, with designs ranging from
Star Wars to
Disney Princesses, there’s a little something for everyone.
I hope this information helps, Wendy. Wishing you an adventure of a lifetime at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Hope to see ya' real soon!
Kristin
