Hi there, Mayta! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question!
While the magic is back in full swing at the Disneyland Resort, I'm so glad you reached out about the
current safety measures in place to keep our Guests and Cast Members happy and healthy. The Disneyland Resort team is in touch with public health authorities and government officials to ensure that the measures in place are current and effective. You can always check for any updates within the
"Returning to the Land of Magic" section of the Disneyland Resort website.
The Disneyland Resort has implemented a theme park reservation system to manage crowd levels during this time. To enter the parks, you must have a valid theme park ticket in addition to a
theme park reservation. Reservations can be made up to 120 days ahead of your arrival and are subject to availability.
Face coverings are also required for all Guests over the age of two while indoors. This includes most attractions, enclosed transportation vehicles, hotel lobbies, elevators, and corridors. While you are in common outdoor spaces, face coverings are currently optional.
The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative test for COVID-19 ahead of visiting the parks. It is also recommended to check the current CDC guidelines for travel for any Guests traveling in from different states or countries (like you!).
I sure hope this helps put your mind at ease, Mayta! I have recently been to both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort and in my experience, Guests and Cast Members were certainly working together to ensure each other's safety. I can't wait to return!
I just checked your arrival date and you will be visiting during the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Prepare yourself for delicious eats, live music, and even culinary demonstrations from Disney chefs. They may even be spilling a few magical secrets! While you're eating and sipping your way through Disney California Adventure Park, you can race through
Radiator Spring Racers with Lightning McQueen or watch Spider-Man fly through the air at
Avengers Campus. Ready for a mid-day break from the California sun? Pop into
Animation Academy and learn how to draw your favorite Disney characters. End the day strolling through
Pixar Pier and seeing those sparkly lights illuminate the sky!
Magic awaits!
Tara
