I'm so sorry to hear that you will have to put your trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth on hold. It sounds like you have booked a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package, including hotel accommodation as well as theme park tickets. I, too, have had to change and postpone a few family trips this year for similar concerns. As an alternative to canceling, I prefer to push our dates out into the future so that I always have a little magic on the horizon! If this is something you are interested in, just give our
Guest Services team a ring! Subject to availability, changing the dates of your trip is relatively easy. If you are more than 30 days out from your original arrival, there is no fee to change other than covering any price difference that may or may not apply to your new dates. If you are within 30 days, there is a change fee, but adjusting your trip is as quick as a race through Radiator Springs!
If you would still like to move forward with the cancellation, the
terms and conditions on vacation packages allow for cancellations and proportional refunds depending on how close you are to your arrival date. Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund, those made 5 to 29 days prior to arrival are eligible for a refund equivalent to the amount paid minus a cancellation fee and those made within 4 days of arrival are non-refundable.
