Hi there, Emily!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
It sounds like you're in the planning stages of a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! One of the hardest parts of planning and preparing (for me) is knowing what to pack. Outfits for the theme parks, comfortable shoes, swimsuits, sunscreen...the list can seem endless, especially with little ones in tow! The good news is, you won't need to make room in your suitcase for life jackets when you stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Complimentary life jackets are provided for even the littlest Mouseketeers at Disney resort pools. Please note that the life jackets are first-come, first-served, so make sure to pick up the size jacket you need when you first arrive for your pool day.
With all of the
enhanced cleaning procedures during Walt Disney World's
Return to a World of Magic, the pool decks and equipment are sure to be sanitized and sparkling clean for your use, and that includes the life jackets. Currently, these are the protocols being followed for pools at the resorts:
- Feature pools may operate with reduced hours; leisure pools are open 24 hours a day
- Pools are operating with reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing and mobile waitlists may be used, giving Guests the option to receive an alert and return when space is available
- Select poolside activities may be available at select Resort hotels
As guidelines are consistently changing and shifting during Walt Disney World Resort's phased reopening, I encourage you to visit the
Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go page for the most up-to-date information before your trip.
Splish! Splash! I hope this helps, and you have the most pixie-dusted Disney vacation ever.
