Since covid can i bring a hydration backpack into the park and are the filling stations available

    Hi Kayla! Welcome to planDisney.

Tomorrow is your arrival day at Walt Disney World Resort during The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Create your own scavenger hunt looking for all the golden Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. My favorite is Donald Duck located in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park.

Backpacks are absolutely permitted inside the theme parks. In fact, I love the new screening procedures since the reopening of the theme parks. You are allowed to keep your backpack on your body and walk through the metal detectors. If nothing inside your backpack alerts the security staff, you are free to proceed. If something does set the alarm off, you simply head to secondary screening for a quick check of your bag.

Free ice water is still available upon request at quick-service restaurants and water filling stations. I suggest doing a google search on this topic. You will find many people have extensive free water lists for each theme park.

Wherever you choose to finish your night, get ready when the sun goes down and Disney icons like the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Spaceship Earth at EPCOT come to shimmering EARidescent life during Beacons of Magic with music and projections.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your Disney vacation question. We are here to help.

    Keeping it Magical,
