Have a much coveted lunch reservation for Space 220 on our last day of vacation at Disney World. Our return flight has been advanced putting the reservation in jeopardy. How can I get the lunch reservation moved to an earlier time? Any suggestions?

    Hi Georgeanne,

    Welcome to planDisney!

First, let me applaud you for getting an advanced dining reservation at Space 220 Restaurant! Now, let's talk about your dilemma. I had a similar problem. We have a trip coming up in December. I booked Space 220 Restaurant for our arrival day and then our flight was changed and I was afraid we would not make the lunch reservation. Luckily, the airline allowed us to change our flight to arrive the night prior.

If you have not checked other flights for that day, go ahead and do so. There may be a later flight. With the airlines we use, they will change our flight for free if they have changed our flight and the new times do not work for us. Check your airline's policies and procedures.

You could also just keep checking for additional dining availability. When our flight was changed, I was also able to find another reservation for Space 220 Restaurant on another day but we decided that we still wanted to try to do it early in our trip. In the past, we have also used a dining reservation finder that will send alerts if a reservation comes available. You could also try Space 220 Lounge, or you could talk with a Cast Member at the restaurant to see if they could seat you earlier.

Just keep thinking! I am sending some dining reservation pixie dust hoping you are able to find another reservation time or change that flight. On my last visit, I dined at Space 220 Restaurant and it was cool to infinity and beyond!

    Magic and memories,
