Hello, Jesse! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You are just a few short weeks away from your Disneyland Resort adventure - how exciting! The Cove Bar has been a popular destination for some amazingly creative and tasty libations and delicious snacks as well, so I fully understand your desire to dine there on your upcoming trip. However, in the next few days this area of the park will begin its
transformation into the new and exciting Pixar Pier. In order for work to begin, a few attractions, Ariel's Grotto, and the Cove Bar will close on January 8, 2018. So while you might not be able to dine there this February, there are still plenty of great places to get a refreshing drink and some great food at Disney California Adventure Park. You might try
Rita's Baja Blenders in the Pacific Wharf area for a margarita, or
Sonoma Terrace near Wine Country Trattoria for a large selection of beers and wines and a nice assortment of snacks.
For some delicious Groot-shaped sourdough bread, you will want to head to
Fairfax Market in Hollywood Land and order "I Am Bread." I have also occasionally seen this bread sold on a cart near the Boudin Bakery in the Pacific Wharf. While these breads are large enough to share with a friend, they are so yummy that you may just want to keep it all for yourself!
I hope this helps! Have a fantastic time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
