Hey, there, Lori! Welcome to planDisney! I love how you are like me, and you want the fun to begin while you're planning and anticipating your big trip. I do enjoy a countdown clock, and I must say that Disney has provided us with one of the cutest around. Allow me to break it down for you so you can access your own.
If you haven't already, download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App onto your phone. Open the app and log in or create an account if you don't already have one. Then, from the home screen on the app, click on the three vertical lines at the bottom of the page. Under, "My Visit," click on, "Hotel Reservations." If you already have a linked
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation, tada! There's your countdown clock complete with a cute little graphic representing your hotel.
If nothing's there, that means you either don't have a reservation yet or you don't have it linked. To link one you already have, again, click on the three vertical lines at the bottom of the app. Then, under, "My Visit," click on, "My Plans." From there, look for, "Is Anything Missing?" Underneath that, click on, "Link Admission, Reservations or Purchases." Then, click on, "Type ID" at the top of the page, and you'll see a box to type in your reservation confirmation number and name.
If you need to make a hotel reservation, just visit the
Walt Disney World website to do so. I, personally, like to start on the
special offers page because I love saving money. That allows me to add more to my Disney snacks and merchandise fund.
