Hi Rebekah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Thank you for asking such a good question, and one that there may be many answers for, as all the facets of the dining plans can be a little confusing! The first rule of the
Disney Dining Plans is that every guest on the same Disney Resort reservation must be using the same dining plan, and it has to be purchased for the exact number of nights of your stay. Usually the dining plans are added to a package (Disney Resort hotel, park tickets and dining plan), whether they are purchased, or offered complimentary as part of a special promotional deal. Usually if a guest has an Annual Pass, they may not purchase a Disney Dining Plan (but there may be exceptions to this), and as you are all on the same Resort reservation at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, that means you may not purchase a Disney Dining Plan either. For complete clarification you will need to speak with the tour operator with whom you purchased your holiday. If this is the Walt Disney Travel Company UK, the freephone number is 0800 169 0730. When they can see the exact details of your whole booking, they will be able to give you a concise answer.
If it is not possible to add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation, have you considered a
Tables In Wonderland membership? This is a dining discount programme, which can be exclusively purchased by Florida Residents, Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members, and offers 20% discount on food and alcohol at
many participating Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, including the
End Zone Food Court at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, for up to 10 guests. The current price of one year's membership is $150 for Annual Pass Holders (this price is subject to change). It may be worth doing the calculations, as all three of you can benefit from this. If you want to check the current prices at the
Walt Disney World Resort restaurants - select your location here, and click on View Menu.
If you have any further questions, please come back and visit us. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
