How ya doin', Jameelah, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm claiming honorary status and shouting a hearty Louisiana, "Hey, cousin!" as I offer my little contribution to this magical cousin vacation. I know y'all are about to show the Walt Disney World Resort a time.
You can absolutely start paying towards next year's family extravaganza. When you book a
vacation package that includes your
theme park tickets and
hotel reservation, you can make a $200 deposit on your stay and then continue making payments. You'll just need to make sure your reservation is paid in full 30 days before you arrive.
Keep in mind that the payment options aren't shared so that everyone can pay into the same reservation separately. For my family trips, we usually choose a single person(me) who breaks down the cost, what everyone owes, and takes all payments. I add all those funds to the reservation until everything is paid off.
Pro-tip: I'm not sure how many cousins y'all are planning to bring, but you may want to look at some of the multi-bedroom options around the property. A 2-bedroom villa at a location like
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort can sleep up to 9 adults. Y'all will be together making memories while being right in the heart of the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Jameelah, have the best time with your cousins. I hope y'all have as much fun as my family does when we take on The Mouse. If you have any other questions, you come right back and
ask your new favorite play cousin.
Happy planning!
Cousin Taylor
