Hello my cousin wants to purchase tickets for us she lives in Florida but won't be able to visit the park with us can she still buy them for us?

Hi there, Shannon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the great things about living in Florida is sharing our love of Disney with our friends and relatives who come to visit. Seeing them discover the Walt Disney World Resort always brings a smile to my face.

However, while we can share the experience of Walt Disney World with our loved ones, sadly one thing we can't share is our Florida Resident discounts. When purchasing Florida Resident discount tickets or Annual Passes, each Guest must show proof of Florida residency at a Guest Relations location before the tickets can be activated and used to enter a Theme Park.

But there are still ways you can save a little money on your Walt Disney World vacation, Shannon! Depending on when you plan to visit, you may be able to take advantage of the 4-Park Magic Ticket, which is a great deal that's available for all Guests. The 4-Park Magic Ticket allows you a visit to each of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks for one day for as little as $89 per day plus tax! It's valid on select dates through September 30, so check your travel dates and see if this option will work for you.

And while you're looking for deals, be sure to check out the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. There are almost always special rates on Resort hotel stays, vacation packages, and more!

I hope this helps you plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Shannon. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
