Esmeralda from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My cousin is a So-Cal resident, he is purchasing tickets for him, me and my sister (Nor-Cal residents) do me and my sister have to show an ID with the So-Cal address or only my cousin since he is the one who is purchasing the tickets?

Hi Esmeralda! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Anyone using a discounted SoCal Ticket Offer admission ticket or Imagine Key needs to be able to prove residence in one of the select ZIP Codes. Guests with one of these ticket or pass types will need to show a government-issued photo ID at the entrance for use. So, while a resident can buy a ticket for another resident, a Guest who lives outside these ZIP Codes can't use the discounted admission ticket since they won't be able to prove residence with the proper identification.

I'm sorry if you were hoping for a different answer today. You are in luck, however! Disney Parks Blog just announced a fabulous deal for the summer: All Guests regardless of their residence can take advantage of the upcoming 3-Day Disneyland Ticket Offer. The usage of these tickets can be non-consecutive and they can be upgraded to include Park Hopper and Disney's Genie+ Service, which lets you spend less time in queues and more time having fun together in the parks. I hope this is just the thing you were looking for, and you end up getting to enjoy more magic at a great price.

There's going to be so much to explore this summer, including Pixar Fest, which celebrates Pixar films through Entertainment, decor, special Character encounters, and themed menu items. You won't want to miss it!

    Have a magical day.
