Hello! My cousin and I purchased two Park Hopper tickets. We were hoping to go on May 16th. However, it says that California Adventure is our starting park and that there are “no times available” for Disneyland Park. Help! What does that mean for us?

    Hey Anne!

A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about using the Park Hopper option during the phased reopening of Disneyland Resort!

Congratulations on the purchase of your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets with Park Hopper option. Your visit is just a few days away and you are well prepared — how exciting!

Anne, I am so happy you have a secured your theme park reservation for Disney California Adventure Park. As you already know, they are limited and subject to availability. You are a truly pixie-dusted Guest! Because Disneyland Park did not have any theme park reservations available, you must start your day at Disney California Disney Adventure Park. Then, after 1:00 PM, you can “hop” over to Disneyland Park with your Park Hopper theme park ticket. You are all set to visit both theme parks on May 16, Anne!

Please keep in mind that the ability to visit a park is subject to the park's capacity limitations. Currently, a theme park reservation is not required after the first theme park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change at any time.

Anne, I invite you to explore the experience updates page for even more information on the phased reopening of Disneyland Resort. This page is chock-full of valuable information on face coverings, temperature screenings, and physical distancing protocols.

I also encourage you to check out our new planDisney Instagram account! Our most recent highlight reels showcase the grand reopening of Disneyland Resort and the Disneyland Resort hotels.

If you have any other questions, please visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!

Wishing you a Magical May Visit,
