Here we go! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question, Wendy. How nice of you to stop by!
I'm so happy to hear that you want to plan a Disney day with your cousin. Unfortunately, the current Southern California Resident Ticket is available for residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 with a valid government-issued photo ID showing the eligible ZIP code. The Important Details information that states "Eligible residents may purchase up to 5 tickets per day with a valid ID" is so that residents can buy tickets for people within that residence (such as younger Mouseketeers) or multiple tickets to use themself. The
SoCal Resident tickets cannot be used by people outside the eligible ZIP codes even if purchased by a Guest who resides within the eligible ZIP codes. All Guests aged 18 or over will be asked for a government-issued photo ID at the main entrance to confirm their eligibility when they use these special tickets. I'm sorry if this is not what you hoped to hear!
Wendy, there is a
Kids’ Special Ticket Offer that has no residency requirement and might be good for your son. The ticket offer is good for a 1-day, 1-park ticket for as low as $50 and must be used by March 20, 2025. For more details, check out the
Disneyland Resort website's "Offers & Discounts" page.
To make the most of your visit, be sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App before you arrive. Familiarizing yourself with the app and its functions can help pack the most magic into your trip! I use the app to check ride wait times, mobile order food, and plan my route for those must-do attractions. I also love the mobile checkout at certain merchandise locations, as avoiding lines is my ultimate goal when I'm at the resort!
I hope this information helps, Wendy! Please feel free to
fly back by if you have any other questions.
See you real soon!
Melissa
