Hello, Lisa!
The short answer is yes; your cousin can continue collecting photos after you leave. However, you both must allow the other one access to view and purchase your photos using the
Memory Maker entitlement. First, make sure that you and your cousin are in the other's
Friends and Family List in your
My Disney Experience accounts. Second, be sure that you both have checked the box that allows you to view and purchase the other's photos. Third, wear your
MagicBands and smile. After Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers capture your photo, they will touch your MagicBand to their Mickey touch point, and the photos will be posted to your account. Wearing your MagicBand has another perk. At select attractions, your on-ride photo or video will be automatically associated with your MagicBand, and that media will magically appear in your account without the need to use a Mickey touch point. It really is magic!
All of the photos and videos that are collected during your vacation will expire 45 days from the date taken. Since you hold the Memory Maker entitlement, you will be the one editing and downloading the collected media. Once activated, you have 30 days of unlimited downloading, and can choose to download to your computer all at once or individually. Just make sure you activate the Memory Maker within the 45-day expiration window, so you are sure to capture all of those memories!
I hope you have a magical adventure with your cousin!
