    My cousin and I are heading to WDW Thanksgiving weekend. This will be the first time we ever use magic bands and are wondering if even though it's linked through my Disney account (I booked it), can her band be on a different credit card for her purchases?

    Thank you for your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I have some very good news for you. During our last trip, we found out that a Guest’s MagicBand can be linked to the credit card of their choosing, even if it’s not the same credit card that is associated with your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation or with your My Disney Experience account. You shouldn’t have a problem linking your cousin’s MagicBand to a different credit card, should you choose to do so.  

    In order to ensure that the MagicBands are linked properly, please mention your request to the Cast Member when you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. It’s also a good idea to request a printout of your MagicBands’ respective transactions after your first day in order to double check that the transactions are being processed correctly.
