    My cousin has never been to Disney World. I want to bring her when it is safe to fly again! She is 61 and disabled and must use a walker or wheelchair. If we stay at one of the Disney properties, what are her travel options from the hotel to the parks?

    I’m so happy to hear that you’re wanting to share the magic of Walt Disney World Resort with your cousin! I’m sure Mickey and Minnie are anxiously waiting to meet her and see you again! 

    Transportation for Guests with disabilities is really quite simple! I’ve taken many modes of transportation with my sweet niece and her epic pink wheelchair, and I can say with confidence that Walt Disney World makes it a smooth experience! 

    When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you’ll have complimentary transportation to and from the theme parks, Disney Springs, and the water parks! Every one of these modes of transportation is friendly for Guests using walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, etc. Whether you’re traveling by bus, boat, Monorail, or Disney Skyliner, you and your cousin will always be accommodated! There is typically a separate line for Guests with disabilities, you’ll want to enter that line so the Cast Members can assist you further. And, if you can’t find the separate line, just ask a Cast Member and they will happily direct you along your magical way!
