Rachael from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My cousin and i bought our respective tickets and each made our own reservation for the same date. Is it okay that we are one party of 2 but have two separate reservations?

Hi there Rachael, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by en route to the Happiest Place on Earth. What a magical week; the theme parks of the Disneyland Resort have officially reopened! I'm glad to hEAR you and your cousin have made plans, purchased tickets, and secured reservations to return to a land of magic.

It sounds like you and your cousin are all set to enjoy the theme parks together during your visit. Current health and safety protocols, following guidelines set by the State of California, dictate that Guests may visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in groups no larger than 3 households. It's also totally fine for each of you to have separate reservations tied to your own Disney accounts. Hakuna Matata!

In addition to your tickets and theme park reservations, there are a few other mouseketools you'll want to bring along for your day of magic. Be sure to have the latest version of the Disneyland Mobile App; it'll be a handy helper for managing Mobile Food & Beverage Orders and keeping track of operational updates. I also recommend bringing proof of California residency, (this may be requested upon entry), and several of your favorite face coverings. Finally, as you await the big day, follow us on social media and check the Disney Parks Blog for news and updates as the reopening experience takes shape.

I hope this is helpful, Rachael. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and have a bibbidi bobbidi beautiful day!
