Hi, Jill!
I had the S'mores Bake—a warm chocolate brownie topped with roasted marshmallows, graham crackers and hot fudge served in a hot skillet—at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ last fall, and it’s an indulgent favorite! I do see it listed on a menu for the restaurant that was recently posted on a fan website, so I bet you’ll be able to enjoy one on your Disneyland Resort visit.
There are so many delectable snacks and sweet treats at Disney California Adventure Park, but here are a few of my top picks.
-Corn Dog Castle: Choose from hot link, cheddar cheese or original at this popular stand, and each piece of yummy goodness on a stick comes with a bag of chips or apples.
-Hand-Dipped Ice Cream Bars at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream: You start by choosing an ice cream flavor (vanilla bean, chocolate or berry sorbet) and then select your dip (dark or milk chocolate). The topping selections are chocolate chips, confetti Mickeys, rainbow sprinkles and blue raspberry bursts. To try a mix of all the toppings, order “The Whole Herd!”
-Dill Pickle Popcorn at the Cozy Cone Motel: Two specialty popcorn flavors are featured daily, and although the pickle flavor is my favorite (it’s perfectly salty with just a hint of dill), I also like the other flavors, which include nacho cheese, sweet & spicy, and salt and vinegar. Wash it all down with a cold cup of Doc’s Wild Grape Tonic.
-Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop: Every Guest is greeted at the door with a free piece of Ghirardelli Squares chocolate. My dessert of choice is the Gold Rush, an ice cream sundae with freshly made hot fudge and melting peanut butter.
Bon appetit, Jill! I hope you enjoy these suggestions and have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth.”
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
