In a couple weeks, we will be traveling with our 8 month old daughter. Are there a few 'best' tips you can recommend. One thing I read on a message board was to bring a rain cover for the stroller which was great advice but I don't plan on it raining! :)

    Hi Jennifer,

I like your attitude!  Traveling with babies can appear to be an impossible task, but we've actually found it to be surprisingly relaxing!  Once they're old enough to read park maps, they want to run the show!

The rain cover is a must, and I'd also bring a light colored, light-weight blanket to put over the stroller to keep the sun off your little one (even if it has a cover, odd angles can make the sun unavoidable).  Stock up on disposable bibs, and be sure to make yourself familiar with the locations of the baby care centers in each of the parks, they are by far the best place to change and feed your baby.

As for a few of the things I always pack:  A night light, disposable wash cloths (makes bath time much easier and they have the baby soap already in them), outlet covers and HATS (be sure to have one that you don't mind getting wet in the pool).  For ease of traveling, I've always shipped a box to my resort with the diapers, wipes and necessities so the day of travel I have as little luggage as possible.

I hope this helps, have a great trip!
