We're a couple spending a week at P.P. or G.C. We'll both have rented ECV's (and no car). Can these be parked/charged elsewhere (other than in room)? We doubt there will be room to maneuver in the room with 2 ECV's. Which hotel would be best?

Hi Penny and thanks so much for the question.

To be honest, it's going to be a bit of a squeeze no matter which resort you choose. The rooms at Paradise Pier are slightly larger than those at Grand Californian (364 sq. ft. vs. 353 sq. ft.) but not by much.  The good news is that Disney is so very accommodating to those with specific needs, so I'm sure they would gladly be willing to help you reorganize the room, or remove a piece of furniture, such as a desk, to make it easier for you to maneuver in the room.  You could also request an accessible room.  I know that the accessible rooms at the Grand Californian have a larger bathroom, which may be beneficial for storing one of the ECVs.

I think all in all, that you will find the Grand Californian to be the best bet because of the convenient location, plus all of the walkways within the hotel have convenient ramps alongside for easy maneuverability with ECVs, wheelchairs, or strollers.  You will have back door entry to California Adventure, and you're only a short distance from Disneyland Park via Downtown Disney, which is accessible from the hotel.

I would honestly recommend contacting each hotel directly to discuss your situation.  I have always had great response from guest services at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and they always go out of their way to provide excellent service! I have provided the direct telephone numbers below!

Grand Californian Hotel Operator: (714) 520-5050

Paradise Pier Hotel Operator: (714) 999-0990

    Best Wishes,
