Hi! I have a couple of questions about our upcoming Labor Day Trip. Will In-Room celebrations be offered at that time? Also, what about refillable mugs? We have a party of 8, will restaurants allow us to all sit together or are there party size limits?

    Hi Katie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with these great questions! Due to the current pandemic and in order to ensure the health and safety of Guests as well as Cast Members, certain modifications have been made throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. One of those modifications being that Disney Floral and Gifts are not offering the In-Room Celebrations. There has been no new information released as to when this will resume. My guess would be when it can be safely done or when current conditions improve.

Refillable Resort Mugs are still being offered however when you wish to fill your mug, a Cast Member will provide you with a disposable paper cup containing the drink of your choice. As far as dining, restaurants may accommodate a party of 8 as long as there's room to social distance the tables. Keep in mind that this is up to the discretion of the restaurant as its based on space and capacity.

Katie,  I also recommend that you familiarize yourself with this page: Update on Walt Disney World Resort operations, including Theme Parks and Water Parks. This is where you can find the latest news regarding the reopening and the conditions to visit. Another option is to subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog, which is the best way to receive the latest information regarding the Disney Parks and Resorts, directly to your email! You can also follow Walt Disney World on the different social media platforms to stay informed.

Thanks again for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If you need more help planning your vacation, please feel free to send me your questions!
