Hello, in a couple months we'll be staying at Pop Century. What is the best way to get to the Boardwalk area from our hotel? All I can think of is take a bus to any park, then take the bus to Boardwalk hotel or Swan/ Dolphin. Thank you

    Hi Nathan,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You are totally on the right track for how to use the free Disney transportation to get from Pop Century to Boardwalk. I would hop on a bus to Hollywood Studios, which is only about a 10-15 minute ride away.

Once you exit the bus at Hollywood Studios, you could catch the boat to Boardwalk. However, my family normally opts to walk. It is a leisurely 15 minutes or so along the marked path, which is faster than the boat. You can reverse this route to get back to Pop. Or, if Hollywood Studios is already closed, you can bus to Disney Springs and transfer to a Pop Century bus there.

If you don't want to spend that much time on the free transportation, please note that a taxi or Uber from Boardwalk to Pop Century should be $10 or less and will take just a few minutes. We often use that option if it is late and we're ready to call it a night.

Have a great time at Boardwalk! And please let us know if we can answer any other planning questions for you as Walt Disney World your trip nears.
