Hi. We have a couple of gift cards with high dollar amounts we plan to use for dining and shopping. Is there a way to add them to our reservation so we can just use our Magic Bands to pay? Also is there a way to make an e-card to an actual card?

    Hi there, Amy!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for dropping by with your questions. It looks like your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few short months away - are you counting down the days yet!?

Disney Gift Cards are a fantastic way to pay for dining experiences and souvenirs during your trip, and I'm determined to help you put your plan into action. Unfortunately, there is not currently a way to store Disney Gift Cards in your My Disney Experience account or link to your MagicBand or MagicBand+. Great news though, Amy - you do have the following option:

As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you're able to charge purchases to your Disney Resort hotel folio. By default, the charges to your folio will be applied to the credit card on file on the last night of your Resort hotel stay. However, if you visit the front desk prior to the last night of your stay, you'll be able to make your folio payment using a physical Disney Gift Card.

It's easy to transfer Disney Gift Card eGifts to physical Disney Gift Cards! If you already have a physical Disney Gift Card, simply visit the Disney Gift Card website to add the card to your account. (If you don't already have a physical card, you can purchase one from the same website.) Then, add your Disney Gift Card eGifts to your account (you are able to store up to six cards at a time.) My recommendation is to transfer all of the funds onto one physical Disney Gift Card, up to a maximum of $1,000. This will make using your gift cards a breeze during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! My family keeps one physical card and uses this same method to refill the card ahead of each vacation. It's a quick, easy, and sustainable way to make purchases during your trip!

Amy, I hope that you find this information helpful, and I encourage you to reach out again if you have additional vacation planning questions. I'm wishing you all the best in your planning and hope you have an unforgettable time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
