Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Heather. I see that you are headed to Walt Disney World in just a few short days. I bet you are getting so excited! I can't think of a better way to kick off a new year. Fun!
Heather, I think you'll be happy to know that you can pay for most things while you are on vacation at Walt Disney World with a
Disney Gift Card - including
Memory Maker. I think you will really enjoy the addition of the Memory Maker on your upcoming vacation. Memory Maker includes digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos, select attraction photos and videos and Magic Shots featuring Disney characters and more added to your photos. I use the Memory Maker each time I visit Walt Disney World and those pictures are priceless!
You will also be able to pay for your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay with Disney Gift Cards even though you've checked in online. What you'll need to do is visit the front desk of the resort you happen to be staying at and ask them to run your Disney Gift Card instead of the credit card you have saved on file. I suggest doing this on your last night instead of your check-out morning. Technically, you aren't supposed to be billed until after the check-out hours on your last day, however, when I was just there a few weeks ago and wanted to use a Disney Gift Card to pay for the room they had already run my card and it was still pretty early in the day. It wasn't a problem getting the charges reversed and then using my gift card but it was kind of a hassle. As long as you visit the front desk sometime before your check-out day you won't run into any trouble.
I hope this helps, Heather. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and enjoy!
Jackie H.
