Hi Terri,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
I completely understand, there’s a lot going on within a family Disney day, I’m happy to hEAR you were able to take advantage of your
Memory Maker despite the difficulty!
In the future, you could have only one person in charge of the Memory Maker, meaning the service is only linked to their account. This works really well with my family; I usually scan my phone or MagicBand with the
Disney PhotoPass Cast Member and the photos will go to my app. At the end of the day, I download all the pictures to my phone and share them with my family members.
Keep in mind that there are many features within the
My Disney Experience mobile app that can help you utilize your Memory Maker to the fullest. Like you mentioned, if your family or friends are linked to your app, you’ll be able to toggle within the Memory Maker section to see their pictures as well. To do this, select “Link Photos”. If they receive a card from a Cast Member add that confirmation number into the app, otherwise if they scan their barcode, the pictures should flow into your app. Next, when you’re looking at all the pictures, in the upper left corner, click “Filter”, then select “View All” under “Family & Friends”. This will allow you to see all the photos linked to your account!
One final tip, within the app, under the map icon (second icon from the left on the bottom), you can adjust the locations you see on the screen to see all the PhotoPass locations in one park! Simply select “Wait Times” in the top middle then choose “PhotoPass”. From there, you should see the icons change and you’ll be able to see where the service is offered so you don’t miss out on any opportunities!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful for your Memory Maker use in the future. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
