Hiya Zack! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm sure you are excited about your upcoming holiday at the
Walt Disney World Resort! A 14-night stay sounds like a dream. Having that much time allows you to fully explore everything that Walt Disney World has to offer, including the parks, dining, and so much more.
With your resort accommodations, park tickets, and travel already paid for, you can now allocate the rest of your funds to everything you plan to do once you arrive. If you're anything like myself, you're going to want to include a hefty budget for everything you plan to eat. I love incorporating as much dining as possible, including all the snacks I want to try during my stay. With the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival underway when you arrive, there will be plenty of snacking happening at the Outdoor Kitchens set up around the park.
Zack, your best bet to figure out how much you plan to spend during your stay will be to come up with a budget. For dining, you can look up the menus of the locations you plan to eat at.
Menu pricing will be available for all table-service and quick-service dining locations on the Walt Disney World website. By doing so, you should be able to figure out a solid amount you plan to spend on food and snacks. For merchandise purchases, the parks and resorts will have many unique items that you can only find while visiting onsite. Depending on what you are searching for, the price will vary greatly. I would consider what items are your must-haves and make sure you prioritize these purchases when arriving for your trip.
If you are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, you'll receive complimentary transportation to and from the parks each day. However, if you are staying off-site, you may need to consider costs for travel. Some hotels will offer a free shuttle service, but many do not have this option. I would build in a budget for travel if it is not offered.
In my opinion, I believe you are setting yourself up to have a healthy budget for your stay. Again, every Guest vacations differently, and the amount you spend will vary. However, if you have a plan in place with the dining locations you visit and merchandise purchases you make, you should have a good idea of your total spending.
I hope this information helps you plan for your holiday, Zack!
