Counting down the days until our next trip! I need to use a scooter when in Disney & it's not the easiest thing traversing the buses to park the scooter... Are the bus drivers allowed to put the scooters on the bus/take them off for you? Thanks!

    Hey there, Bree-Na!

I know you are counting down the days! Not many more left!

My husband used an ECV during one our trips to Walt Disney World, and the bus drivers were accommodating and helpful when loading and unloading the buses.

If you are riding an electric scooter, the Cast Member driving the bus will lower the bus and then lower a ramp for you to drive your scooter onto the Disney bus before all other passengers. There is a designated section on the bus for all guests who are using special equipment. Typically guests are allowed to remain on the scooter, with the brakes activated, during the ride to the parks. Once you arrive at your destination, you will be allowed to exit the bus before other guests.

My husband received excellent treatment while we were at Disney, not only from the Cast Members but also for other guests.

Enjoy your upcoming trip! If more questions arise before your arrival, don't hesitate to visit with us again!
