Hi, I am counting down the days till I can book my Disney dining character reservations- I will be travelling with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. When I book do I need to book for a party of 3? Or only 2 as she is under 3 and eats free? Thanks

    Hi Rachel,

You need to include your daughter in all dining reservations.  Disney is all about safety, and their littlest Guests are at the top of the list.  By knowing how many children are in the restaurant at any given time, if there were ever any type of emergency, Castmembers would know how many kids would need to be accounted for.

They also use this information for table set up.  Some small children will need highchairs, some Guests have strollers, and there are certain spaces that accommodate those needs better than others.  Restaurant management needs this information to keep walking spaces clear. Not including children in a reservation could cause a delay in getting seated because they have to prepare a new table.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a wonderful vacation!
