Hi Silvia. Welcome to planDisney!
Wow! A trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season and a New Year's Eve visit to
EPCOT. That's going to be one exciting trip! The parks will be all decked out for the holidays and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays may be running for part of the time you are there (last year the festival ended on December 30, 2022). Since not everything has been announced for the holiday season nor New Year's Eve specifically, stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for any details as your trip gets closer.
To enjoy a theme park for the coming New Year's Eve, all you will need is valid
theme park admission and
Theme Park Reservations for all the members of your travel party. Since it seems like you have secured both of those, you should be all set to enjoy your night in EPCOT! If not, I would recommend you do that sooner rather than later as the parks usually reach capacity on New Year's Eve.
If you are referring to a specialty dining event which is sometimes offered on New Year's Eve, these experiences have not yet been announced so I would once again recommend you keep following along with the Disney Parks Blog to see if these types of events will be offered and when reservations will open.
Silvia, you are bound to have a wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. I can't think of a better way to ring in 2024 than to do it at EPCOT. And what's more?
The EPCOT transformation should be complete by the time you visit, which should bring a brand-new
nighttime spectacular, new meet and greet homes for some of our favorite characters, and the immersive walkthrough experience
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. While no official date has been announced for these experiences and timelines can change, it was previously announced that they should open before the end of 2023, so keep your eyes peeled for any announcements.
If you have any other questions leading up to your trip,
please reach out again. We want you to have the best holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Warm hugs for everyone,
Matt
