Hi, counting the days until we arrive at the port orleans french quater this September.Made reservations at the Hoopdee doo revue, what would be our best route for transportion their.Travel to magic kingdom first or take bus from downtown Disney. Thanks

Hi Mary-Jo! Both of these choices are just about equal in time making it a more difficult decision for you. If you have some shopping to do in Downtown Disney then you could take the boat from Old Key West and then hop on the Fort Wilderness bus there. You will have a bit more walking to get from one point for transportation to the next on this route but if you had a purpose to get something done In the Downtown area this would be a perfect fit.

If you take the bus to the Magic Kingdom you can then hop on the Fort Wilderness boat right there at the Magic Kingdom entrance making it very convenient. The real benefit for this choice is that once you arrive at the Fort you will have a short walk to Pioneer Hall from the marina. If you go the other route you have to catch the internal bus to get to Pioneer Hall making it have one more leg to your trip.

My choice......bus to Magic Kingdom, boat to Fort Wilderness!
