Hi! We are counting the days to our Oct trip to WDW! We are attending MNSSHP Oct 8. Can you tell me about the MNSSHP Dinner Party, specifically at Crystal Palace? Will the Pooh characters still be visiting tables and will they be dressed for halloween?

    Hi Courtney!

I'm so glad to hear that you are planning a fall vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many amazing special events for Guests to enjoy during an autumn trip, such as the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Plus, with Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening at the end of August, you will also be able to journey to a galaxy far, far away when you visit this new area in Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Guests who are enjoying Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are able to enjoy the incredible table service restaurants in Magic Kingdom during their exclusive time in the theme parks. The Crystal Palace is one of my favorite Magic Kingdom restaurants and is a great place to enjoy during your visit. When you visit during the party, you will enjoy this restaurant's Character Dining experience, which includes an awesome dinner buffet with really tasty food. While Character appearances are always subject to change, you can expect to meet Winnie the Pooh and friends during their "Friendship Day Celebrashun". During the party, they will meet with Guests in their standard outfits, but you can generally meet them in their Halloween costumes during the party in Fantasyland!

Keep in mind that in order to enjoy Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dining, you will need a ticket to that evening's party. I recommend that you plan on enjoying dinner around 6:00 p.m. so you can maximize your time enjoying the party's festivities when they start at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your trip so you can get the latest news and announcements about this year's party and other things you will be able to enjoy during your trip!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
