Will counter service locations serve your meals in to go/take out containers? We were hoping to grab lunch in the park and head back to our resort to eat and a rest. This would allow us to eat more variety than what is in our resort food court.

    Hi Gina!

Thanks for your question. I am also a big fan of getting something in the theme parks, then taking it back to our resort room to enjoy. With all the hustle-and-bustle at the parks, there are some days it's easier to just eat a good meal at peace in your resort room, and just eat Grab & Go snacks at the parks.

Many of the counter service locations in the parks do offer take-out boxes, although it is always subject to change and varies considerably at each restaurant. There have been times where we've had to "slap" 2 plastic plates together to cover our meals, then tie the take-out bag fairly tight so the food won't shuffle around too much when getting from the parks to your resort rooms

My best recommendation is to ask before sitting at the quick or counter service, to make sure they can do this before ordering. That way if they don't, you can then decide if you want to order there anyway or just wait to find another restaurant that indeed provides take-out boxes/bags.

Hope this helps. Have a Mickey Magical Day!
