With the counter meal deal, do I have to get my dessert with my meal or can I get my meal without dessert and get my dessert later? I'm not referring to the one snack a day allotment. I mean the dessert that comes with each meal. Thanks you're so helpful.

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Deborah! This is a great question! Based on my own personal experience with the Disney Dining Plan, I have always been required to order my dessert that is included with a quick-service meal at the time of the redemption. The quick-service entitlements are not broken down by entrée, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage ( at lunch and dinner) on your receipt, but rather by "meals" that are remaining. With that being said, I have actually chosen desserts at quick-service restaurants that could be saved for later. For example, at Casey's Corner in Magic Kingdom Park, we have chosen a bag of Cracker Jack and cotton candy as our dessert options in the past. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Deborah!
