    The countdown is on! On Sunday we have 8:10 AM reservations at Chef Mickey's. We would like to park our car at the Magic Kingdom then ride the monorail to the Contemporary. Is this possible? If so, how much time should we plan?

    Chef Mickey's is the perfect place to start your day at Walt Disney World!

    You may park in general parking at the Magic Kingdom and then board a monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Just be sure to board a resort monorail (that stops at all three of the Disney resorts situated along the monorail) instead of the express monorail (which only stops at the Magic Kingdom and the Ticket & Transportation Center). 

    Another option is to take a ferryboat from the Ticket & Transportation Center to the Magic Kingdom.  Then switch to the resort monorail, which will deliver you to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  (Chef Mickey's is on the fourth floor).

    Either of these options will likely take you 30 minutes to reach your destination.  It could take less time if a monorail or ferryboat is waiting for you when you arrive.
