We are in the count down to our trip 6/9/11. I am trying to decide between the Spirit of Aloha dinner show and The Hoop-Dee-Hoo. We have a 5 yr old girl and 9 yr old boy, Which would be a better fit? Really wanted to do the Mickey BBQ, but not avail.

    Hi Kristin!

I suggest going to the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue.  It's a lot of fun for both adults and children.  I took my now 7 year old there when he was 4 and I was concerned that he wouldn't enjoy it, but he absolutely loved it!  It's still one of his favorite shows!  My wife and I have also really enjoyed the show; it's a great evening of fun!

Speaking of fun, I think the most fun way to get to the show (assuming you're not staying at Fort Wilderness) is to go to the Magic Kingdom boat launch and then catch the boat to Fort Wilderness.  It's very relaxing and the boat will drop you off about 2 minutes away from the where the show is held; plan on the boat ride itself taking about 20 minutes.

    Have a magical vacation!
