How do I count backwards for the 60 day fastpass choices? If I am arriving on the 16th for instance, do I count that day?

    Hi Susie,

If you’re thinking about your FastPass+ planning date, that can only mean one thing. You have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation booked and hopefully it will be here soon! SO exciting!

When you’re figuring out which day your FastPass+ planning window will open, you want to begin with your check-in date and count backwards. So for example, if you’re checking-in on the 16th of the month, the 15th would be one day out, the 14th would be two days out and so on. While you can certainly count, I usually just ask Siri or Google, “What is 60 days before (insert date)?” Technology sure makes it easy peasy! The FastPass+ planning window opens at 7:00 a.m. Eastern time, so I’d encourage you to log in to your My Disney Experience account a few minutes prior to that so that you’re all ready to go as soon as your window opens!

While all Guests are able to make FastPass+ plans 30 days in advance, as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you’ll have the added perk of being able to make FastPass+ selections 60 days ahead of time for the entire length of your stay, up to 14 days. For some of the more popular attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage, Slinky Dog Dash, or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you’ll find more flexibility and availability the later in your stay that you begin searching. I’m sending some pixie dust that you find the perfect FastPass+ selections for your trip!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susie, and please come back and see us again with any other Disney-planning questions you may have. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
